Middle Ages in Paris Tour for Kids
Join us on a 3-hour private fun and educational tour of Paris, for both children and adults!
This is a journey of discovery through Paris’ fascinating history and begins at one of the city’s most iconic monuments: Notre Dame de Paris and its Towers, the Saint-Chapelle and its wonderful stained glass windows and the Conciergerie so important for the part it played during the French Revolution.
Included in this tour is skip-the-line access to Notre Dame Cathedral. The climb up the towers of this Gothic edifice is not for the fainthearted – 800 feet with wonderful views of Paris!
There is more to learn about Paris’ history when you arrive at the Conciergerie. Originally a royal palace, a place from where Paris’ royalty ruled over the citizens of the city, it then became the Palace of Justice. One part of the palace became a notorious prison, a dark and dank place where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned before going to the guillotine.
The final leg of the tour brings us to St. Chapelle, a magnificent building which is deemed by many to be the most beautiful church in Paris. It is renowned world-wide as being one of the best examples of Gothic architecture and here you can feast your eyes upon some of the most superb stained glass windows to be found anywhere in the world.
A wonderful way to spend 3 hours in Paris with your family!
